HEAR WHAT EXHIBITOR SAYS
“Our main goal for attending this fair is to find distributors in Asia for our French-made Cobra watches. We are not just looking for contacts in the Chinese mainland but from other markets, too – Malaysia and Indonesia are important, Thailand and Vietnam are growing, while Myanmar is opening up. We see Indian buyers here, too – in fact, we made our first contacts with distributors from there three years ago when we made our debut at this Hong Kong show. Our strongest market is the Middle East and most of our existing customers also visit this show. We are a French brand – our headquarters are in Paris and our factory is in Eastern France – and we promote this strongly through our booth at the Brand Name Gallery.”
Laetitia Seneque, Marketing & Communication Manager, Cobra, France

“We have been exhibiting at this fair for many years – it is a good show and that is why we keep coming back again and again. This Hong Kong event is growing globally; buyers don’t just come from Asia, but from around the world. It gives us an opportunity to meet existing clients and show them our new releases, as well as approach new potential customers from different markets. Being a part of the Brand Name Gallery is important – it is best for our brands, especially the well known Elle, to be among other global brands at the exhibition. This is definitely the place for us!”
Cedric Baubet, Head of Sales, Topbrands (HK) Ltd, Hong Kong

HEAR WHAT BUYER SAYS
“I have been coming to this show for the past four years. I am on the look out for new styles and new suppliers as well as to assess the latest fashions and ideas. You really get a full picture of the industry here and there are always new things to see. On the first day of the show I’ve already found a few nice products. My company has two brands of watches that we sell through internet-based companies, including shopping clubs in China. I need to be close to the production and at this fair I can talk with many manufacturers directly, all under one roof.”
Kurt Schmidt, Managing Director Asia, IconicClass, Denmark

“My company is an importer and agent of watches in Sri Lanka, and I am visiting this fair for the first time to look for branded watches as well as unbranded designs that we can put our own name on. This Hong Kong event is well known in the watch business, and now I am here I can say that I am impressed with the quality of the products. I have found many interesting suppliers here whose products would be suitable for our market. I am collecting all the information for later discussion but I can say that I will definitely do business as a result of my visit. This show is very professionally run.”
Panduka Wimaladharma, Director Business Administration, Wimaladharma Brothers (Pvt) Ltd, Sri Lanka
