The Hong Kong Watch & Clock Fair is the largest event of its kind in the world: with the launch of Timepiece Extravaganza, the 2013 event will build further on this reputation as the global meeting place for the timepiece industry.

Thematic zones

ST8083GA Double Tourbillon - Sea-Gull
Sea-Gull With a diameter of 42mm and an 18k rose-gold case, this technologically advanced watch comes with calendar & moon phase indicator at the two o-clock position. The differential gear is connected with coaxial and eccentric tourbillons so that synchronous operation and interactive resonance can work independently. The result is a timepiece that is both precise and aesthetically pleasing.

Poetic-Fengqiaoyebo - Longio
LONGIO POETIC FENGQIAOYEBO incorporates “porcelain body painted enamel”, a delicate technique inherited from Chinese royal court production. In both in its technology and artistic style, the fine enamelled porcelain reflects the brilliant achievement of Chinese porcelain art.

Renaissance Moment
─ timeless and sophisticated European brands
Aristo
Under the leadership of Hansjorg Vollmer, the third generation of the owners, ARISTO has successfully combined the functionality of traditional watches with stylish designs to make an impressive statement. Over the years, ARISTO has offered many popular collections, including Diving, Pilot, Doctor and Racing.

Speed Timer II - Giorgio Fedon 1919
The new Speed Timer II is inspired by Formula One motor racing. It features an eye-catching tyre-like pattern on both sides of the bezel, making the overall design look simple but energetic. The double-layer dial indicates a 1/10 second stop watch function, reflecting the look of a speedometer.

Uhr Kraft
UHR-KRAFT’s brand philosophy is summed up in the phrase “Time to be different”. It is committed to state-of-the-art technological precision and time-honoured workmanship, thus creating an unrivalled style. The company’s products are revered by customers who are passionate about lifestyle, and it is most optimistic about the future of UHR-KRAFT in the Hong Kong market.

Chic & Trendy
─ modish, on-trend watches
Zerone X Sk8thing Dazzled Small - Zerone
SK8THING is a well-known Tokyo designer who was a core member of A Bathing Ape. The DAZZLED SMALL Digital Watch Collection embraces his style, with a cyber vibe, optimal readability and comfort. It features a patented digital module, while 164 Swarovski crystals spell out the time and scroll-down messages with LED lights.

Swing (DD137-06) - odm
The Swing is a mechanical-looking watch that runs as accurately as a battery-operated quartz watch. Careful detailing showcases the intricate details of a high-end mechanical watch with gears and screws amongst the dial, complete with a floating rotor that spins each time the watch moves.

Ceramic Charm - Temporis

Eternal Promise
Among the highlights of the fair is Pageant of Eternity, which focuses on Complete Watches. As part of the show for the past four years, this zone turns the spotlight on exceptional, top-notch timepieces. The refined surroundings of the zone reflect the high standards of craftsmanship and design of the watches themselves.

Knowledge is King
Underlining its importance as an intelligence-gathering event, the show presents the Asian Watch Conference and the Hong Kong International Watch Forum. A panel of heavyweight speakers will host the Asian Watch Conference, including Mr Yvan Arpa, owner of ArtyA from Switzerland, who will provide his inspiring insight to be followed by a panel discussion on ASEAN markets. The forum brings together senior representatives of major global watch associations who will examine current issues.

Local Design Talent
The fair will also showcase the winning entries in the 30th Hong Kong Watch & Clock Design Competition. This year’s competition is based around the themes of “Time Goes On” for the Open Group and “The Mythmaker” for the Student Group.
